This is an exceptionally nice solid
chestnut Victorian bow bed from the late 1800's late Victorian era. It
has a high serpentine arched headboard with a center crest downward trim
and top rail. The side rails are stepped down on the ends connecting to
a bow shaped footboard with the same shape of the headboard at lower
height. It is solid chestnut wood and retains the original finish. Very
well kept antique chestnut bed in fabulous original condition.. It will
accommodate standard full size bedding and is ready for use.
Structurally sturdy and sound. It stands 61.5" high at the headboard and
is 38.5" high at the footboard. It measures 80" long overall and 57"
wide. The interior measures 77" by 55" to accommodate standard full size
bedding.
