beautiful antique mahogany Queen Anne Cedar lined Mahogany blanket chest 1 drawer hope chest. It is a full size blanket chest with a cedar interior chest and a single lower full size cedar lined drawer. Drawer is dove tail joined. It stands on fancy Queen Anne style cabriole legs and pad feet and has a fancy carved apron across the bottom front. It is a full size chest that can also work as a bench seat at the foot of the bed.  It stands 32.25" high and is 44.25" long by 19.5" in depth from front to back." high and is 37" wide by 21" in depth from front to back. Very well made mahogany blanket chest hope chest that dates to around the 1930's 1940's made by Cavalier who was well known for making high quality blanket chest's in the early 1900's.. It is structurally sound and sturdy with the original finish on the wood. It does show wear with some scratches, rubs and scuffs  as can be seen in the photos. Certainly can be used as is or you could refinish if you prefer to pristine very easily. I don't find them in this style too often anymore with the full length drawer under the blanket chest.
