Chester County Pennsylvania is one of the oldest counties in the USA. It boasts home to some of the earliest furniture makers on record. We are fortunate to be located in the heart of Chester County Pa and often come across many old treasures that have been stashed a way in the old historical farmhouses and estates for the past several hundred years. The internet now opens up this market to everyone. Buying antiques is now at their fingertips while relaxing in the comfort of their home. In the past, these wonderful antiques & collectables were only accessible to those that visited our area and browsed the many antique stores while on vacation. That has all changed!
Chester County was one of the three original counties in (the Province of) Pennsylvania, formed in 1682. It's name was derived from Cheshire in England.
It is chock full of American History with Historic Landmarks, Covered bridges, Historic Military markers site of a major battle in the Revolutionary War, old Mills, Farm houses, rolling hills and Historic buildings still as they were hundreds of years ago.
